in a past life, I was the crazy cuckoo, a young birder, who was slightly crazy, and could indeed have been described as a Cuckoo I suppose. While the young birder tag still remains, this blog will document my attempt to delve into a more broad-minded approach to the natural world, while at the same time balancing it with a relatively normal life (relatively being the key word). Impossible you say, and maybe so, but it may just be a little bit entertaining! Oh and I also do photography, rather badly, and this thing with pencils and paints and paper which I'm reluctant to call art because it too is awful. But I may punish my readers with some of this from time to time. I apologise sincerely.
